Vélofocus, led by cycling photographer Sean Robinson, is a photography agency specialising in women’s professional road racing with extensive coverage of the UCI Women’s WorldTour calendar.
Sean approached me to art direct and design the Women’s Cycling Year in Review, a publication that combined his powerful photography with written features from cycling journalists covering key stages of the season.
My design approach focused on creating a storytelling flow that complemented both the imagery and the writing. Using clean layouts, bold typography, and a style aligned with the Vélofocus brand identity, the publication highlighted the energy of the sport while maintaining a professional and contemporary visual aesthetic.
This project demonstrates my expertise in editorial design, sports publication art direction, and visual storytelling—bringing together photography and content into a compelling narrative for cycling fans.
