Not your monolith

As someone with ADHD and dyslexia, this project was deeply personal. I wanted to support the team at NYM in creating a platform that gives visibility to emerging artists, writers, and photographers who are often overlooked in today’s competitive creative industry.

Working closely with the NYM team, we developed a bold and graphic design style that brought poetry and prose to life. We created custom typography for selected stories, ensuring that the visual language reflected the individuality of each piece of writing.

In addition, we collaborated with young photographers, giving them the opportunity to showcase their work within the platform. This not only provided professional experience but also elevated their visibility in the wider creative community.

This project reflects my passion for inclusive design, editorial creativity, and platform-building for underrepresented voices in the arts.
